We've refined the OMJ experience over 13 years in Charlotte. It's thorough by design — because a garment made to last deserves the time it takes to get right.
Phone Consultation
For new customers and those interested in learning about our process and experience but not quite ready to commit to buying. We want to answer all your questions and make sure you are comfortable before you come in for an appointment.
First Appointment
We begin, always, with fabric. It's the foundation of everything, because the way a cloth drapes shapes every decision that follows it. Once you've found the fabric that speaks to you, we move into design: lapel, lining, button and monograms, the details that make a garment yours.
For the rest of the appointment, you'll slip into one of our sample garments so we can see how you actually like to wear a suit, tux, dress or overcoat, and take up to 30 measurements per client — including shoulder slope, collar roll, posture, arm pitch, and stance. Details most Charlotte tailors skip.
Before the garments are commissioned, payment in full is required.
Final Fitting & Pickup
Your finished garment arrives in 6–8 weeks. You come in for a final fitting and any adjustments are handled at no charge. Your updated pattern is stored on file for every future order.

Once your pattern is set, the work is done — every garment after is simply a matter of choosing what comes next, in fabric or in occasion, whether that's browsing new styles in our online collection or contacting your stylist directly.
