About 2 months ago, the idea of The Small Batch Release was initially born. The OLE MASON JAR team was at the proverbial "fork in the road" about what to do for the Fall / Winter collection because we had so many different new fabrics we wanted to introduce, yet (spoiler alert) bringing in a sustainable level of inventory for a number of different patterns for an entire season is pretty dang expensive. Despite our plight, we knew that we had some really incredible patterns and fabrics, and some how some way we had to get these to our customers!

Ladies and Gentleman, our brainpower prevailed and we can proudly say we have solved the problem…we introduce The Small Batch Release!

The concept is simple...like a great whiskey that is aged many years and only produced in small batches, our shirts focus on great quality instead of quantity. The shirts in our Small Batch Release have been individually designed to compliment each other, and are hand sewn with incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. The shirts selected for our Small Batch Release are only available in small quantities for one month, and once that month is over, we retire the fabric and move on to the next month, releasing another set of limited fabrics/patterns.

Every decision that we make in selecting the shirts in our collections is calculated and part of a story that we are trying to tell. We are doing things different than everyone else in the industry by treating shirt marking as an art form, focusing on craftsmanship and choosing great quality fabrics with unique and interesting color patterns.

The November Small Batch Release has 4 incredible shirts that we are very proud of. The patterns we chose are great for fall/winter and are made from 100% cotton that is extremely soft. The colors we chose are all complimentary yet unique, and can be worn on their own or layered under a sport coat or sweater. Also new to The Small Batch Release, is the addition of a classic fit option to go along with our current slim fit offering.
